Shakhtar Donetsk is a Ukrainian professional football club that was founded in 1936. The club is based in the city of Donetsk, which is located in eastern Ukraine. Over the years, Shakhtar has become one of the most successful clubs in Ukrainian football history, having won numerous domestic and international titles.
